Welcome to Caregivers Connected Gateshead! We’re a brand new service, provided by Carers Federation, based in Gateshead offering free and confidential support to all unpaid caregivers across the borough.

Connecting with the Caring Community
Our first step to providing a great service for Gateshead’s community of caregivers was to connect with them directly in their communities.
We have been across the borough making strong connections with local community partners so that we can be where you need us. Some of the fantastic community partners we’re connecting with include; all Gateshead Family Hubs, Daisy Chain, and Gateshead College. We are always looking to make new connections with local organisations. If you’d like to collaborate with us to improve the lives of unpaid caregivers, we’d love to talk!
It’s not just local organisations we’ve been connecting with; we have been out in the community connecting with caregivers of all ages! To learn more about our groups and activities for caregivers, take a look at our groups calendar or contact us.
What’s next?
We are always looking to improve our offer to unpaid caregivers. We’re excited to share some of the upcoming additions to our service;
βοΈ Add new webpages and showcase the support and opportunities available to caregivers.
βοΈ Organise more groups and activities for caregivers of all ages.
βοΈ Collaborate with more local organisations to offer joint support to local caregivers.
“These are very exciting times as we develop an all-ages service for unpaid caregivers in the borough”.
