8 – 14 June marks National Carers Week. During this week the national celebrates the vital impact unpaid caregivers have on our communities as they provide care to loved ones who could not cope without them. This year’s theme is ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities’ – we’re striving to create strong connections in Gateshead communities, increasing awareness of caring and the support available to them.
