School Transition Workshop (Primary to Secondary)

Moving from primary to secondary school can feel like a really big step up. For young carers it can feel even bigger when you’re also trying to look after someone.

We’re hosting school transition workshop for young carers to learn about moving into their next school and answer any questions they have.

Date and Time: Tuesday 11th August 2026, 10am – 2pm

Who is this for? Young carers transitioning from year 6 to year 7 this summer.

What do I need to bring with me? Please bring a packed lunch and a drink.

Meeting Arrangements: We will be meeting inside Lobley Hill Centre. Get directions.
