We’re excited to announce the launch of our latest caregivers group: Parent Carer Connections!
The group aims to support local parent carers over a series of six sessions at Leam Lane Family Hub. This is best suited for anyone caring for someone aged 0-25 with a disability or long-term illness. Every Monday morning the group will be meeting to share our experiences as parent carers and learn more about what services are available locally and nationally.
We also have some fantastic guest speakers joining us to talk about what support their organisations can offer, share insight into different aspects of care and support, including managing sleep, understanding neurodiversity and methods to manage stress.
Session Schedule
Our Parent Carer Connections sessions run weekly, every Monday 09:30am – 12:00pm in Leam Lane Hub. The sessions are split into two halves, the first will see our guest speakers sharing information on support services are out there for you. In the second half, we will get talking and taking on an activity together with a comfort break in between each half.
